Join the ACLU of Vermont for our virtual training series this fall: the Advocacy Academy. Starting on Thursday, October 30, we'll host a weekly call for ACLU supporters who are interested in getting involved in advancing our Firewall for Freedom – a slate of policy initiatives that will defend Vermonters from federal attacks on our fundamental rights and liberties.

Whether you are a seasoned activist or someone getting involved in policy advocacy for the first time, our series aims to offer opportunities to connect, learn, and deepen your understanding of how to create change in this political environment.

Thursday, October 30: What is the Firewall for Freedom
Thursday, November 6: The People's House – a primer on legislative advocacy
Thursday, November 13: In Our Communities – influencing the broader public to create change
Thursday, November 20: Know Your Rights & Responsibilities – Immigrants' Rights

Sessions will run from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Zoom and will be recorded and distributed to those who register. Registrants are welcome to attend all or some of the events based on your availability and interest.
