TRAVEL GRANT APPLICATION FOR THE ACLU NORCAL 2023 CONFERENCE

Thank you so much for your interest in joining the ACLU NorCal at our annual conference! It is important to us that people from across our region are able to participate. We are dedicated to bringing as many people as possible and ensuring that the conference represents the diversity of California. To help us meet this goal, we ask that if you have the means to attend the conference on your own, or cover part of the costs of attendance, that you do so. There is a question about this in the application.

Please note that due to limited space, the conference registration and travel grant is only available to people that live within the ACLU of Northern California region, which is the northern 48 counties in California from the border with Oregon and south through Monterey and Kings Counties. If you are unsure, please check that you are able to select your county from the drop down box in the “Where Are You on the Map?” section.

We will begin selecting travel grantees on a rolling basis starting in late February. If you are selected, you will hear from a member of staff who will ask you to confirm your interest and provide additional information so we can assist you with your travel and hotel needs. Everyone will hear from us no later than Friday, April 7. If you have any questions, please contact changemakers@aclunc.org.

This application will close on Friday, March 31.

Conference Logistics
If you have joined us for our conference in past years, you may have also participated in a lobby day. This year, we are limiting lobby day to a small set of lawmakers who will be key to legislation we hope to pass in 2023. Please let us know about your interest and availability below. If you reside in one of the lawmaker's district, a member of staff will reach out to you to confirm your participation.
