Has professional licensing prevented you from getting a job? Share your experience.

Red Tape in Nebraska's professional licensing structure is keeping good jobs out of reach for too many Nebraskans.

One in three adults in the U.S. have a criminal record and in Nebraska, one in 10 children have a parent in jail. The nearly 200 jobs that require a professional license in Nebraska are often out of reach for those with a criminal history.

The ACLU and the Platte Institute for Economic Research are partnering to remove the red tape that is hurting Nebraska families as well as our state's economy.
