Stereotypes, Stigma, and Silence: How New York Fails Students on Sex Ed Webinar
Have you ever wondered what sex ed instruction looks like in New York?
Our new report, Stereotypes, Stigma, and Silence: How New York Fails Students on Sex Ed uncovers the reality of sex ed instruction in 50 school districts across New York State.
Join us on October 13th as we unpack what over 50,000 documents told us and see what our students are learning when it comes to their bodies, relationships, and how to keep themselves safe.
Our findings tell a troubling story, across the state, students continue to receive sex education that is inaccurate, biased, and missing the mark for what students say they need. Without existing health standards, students are left to fill the gaps.
