Register for New Jersey Clemency Briefing for Attorneys

On Wednesday, December 18, at 12:30 p.m., the American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey will host a virtual briefing for attorneys to outline the clemency process in New Jersey, including who is eligible for expedited review and how to make the strongest case for clients.

At this 75-minute virtual panel event, the ACLU-NJ will bring together leading experts to discuss Executive Order 362, which Governor Murphy issued in June to create an expedited process for categorical clemency and an advisory board to review certain petitions. The discussion will focus on how these changes impact the clemency process in New Jersey.
