Nominate a Foot Soldier for Home Improvements

The ACLU of Alabama is looking to provide a day of service for a Foot Soldier's home on Saturday, March 8, 2025 in Selma, AL. If you know of someone, please submit this form on their behalf.

They must fulfill the following qualifications:

They must live in Selma, Alabama
They must be the homeowner
We cannot serve mobile homes (due to structure limitations)
They must require minor home repairs and/or beautification of the lawn (we cannot participate in a renovation job).

Examples of good projects include: porch/deck repairs, yard cleanup, painting of exterior or interior, building small benches, accessibility modifications (ramp repair), lighting installation, and/or interior touch-ups.

Nominations will be closed February 19, 2025.
