Transgender and gender non-conforming (TGNC) communities in Missouri face an uphill battle for safety, jobs, and statewide non-discrimination protections. It is not always safe to be out or speak up as transgender or GNC, so there is a huge need for allies to help supplement our efforts to be heard.

That’s why we created the Trans Ally Toolkit, a community-backed action guide for cultivating a Missouri that is safe and welcoming for all genders. Let’s not underestimate the power of community working together to make Missouri a safer, more inclusive state. This is not only for the TGNC people living here now, but also for the generations of Missourians to come.
