Firewall for Freedom: How Delaware Can Protect Civil Liberties in a Second Trump Administration

The ultimate power in our democracy lies with the people, not with any single elected official.

Donald Trump will be inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States on January 20, 2025, and has pledged to immediately enact policies that will attack immigrant communities, LGBTQ+ students, people seeking reproductive healthcare, those who dissent, and many more. But we are not powerless in opposition to the President-elect's agenda, and we must begin preparing now.

Join us for a virtual community gathering to learn what local Delaware officials can do prior to January 20 to protect our rights, and what steps the ACLU-DE is taking to ensure we are ready for a second Trump administration. Information will also be available on how you can get involved and take action.

We will also make sure you know your rights when protesting or coming into contact with law enforcement.
