2020 Activist Survey
In the last year, we worked together to bring comprehensive sex-ed to public schools and pass legislation that restored voting rights to over 10,000 parolees. In the courts, we fought for the right for transgender Coloradans to access gender-affirming care when using public health insurance and stopped sheriff officers from enforcing federal civil immigration violations. In the community, we mobilized hundreds of Coloradans to vote in critical elections and did Know Your Rights trainings reaching thousands of people across the state. None of this would have been possible without members, supporters and activists like you.
And, just this month, the Governor signed the bill that Ended the Death Penalty in Colorado. This happened with the help of hundreds of volunteers and activists who showed up to lobby, write post-cards, make phone calls, and join community conversations with a goal to end the death penalty once and for all. Imagine what we can achieve if we continue working together and building power.
Will you lend a few moments of your time and complete the ACLU Activist Survey? Responses are used to improve the work we are doing across the state. You are welcome to reach out to Jen Samano or Julian Camera with any questions pertaining to this survey.
