Bail on Bikes: A community bike ride to promote ending cash bail

When someone is arrested, they have two choices: pay bail or stay trapped in jail. No one should be incarcerated just for being poor. The ACLU of Arizona's Campaign for Smart Justice is hosting a community bike ride to raise awareness of this unjust system. Following the bike ride, a discussion will take place about how the cash bail system works and what can be done to end the discriminatory practice of wealth-based incarceration.
