ACLU Volunteer Leadership Trainings

The 2019-2020 State Legislative Session is underway! We are looking for volunteers who are interested in stepping into a leadership role to help the ACLU Field Team organize for legislative victories. In February we will host 3 leadership trainings on phone banking, 1:1 conversations, and lobbying 101.

Training Descriptions:

Phone Bank Coaches Training: At this training you will learn tips and tricks for running a successful phone bank and how to coach someone through effective phone conversations.

1:1 Conversations: 1:1 conversations are when an organizer or volunteer talks with another volunteer or a prospective volunteer to learn more about them, what their interests are, and to tell them more about the work the ACLU is doing. These conversations help us to grow and sustain our volunteer base.

Lobbying 101 Coaches Training: At this training you will learn how to coach someone through a successful lobby visit with a state representative or state senator.
