We’re launching a statewide campaign to mobilize Tennesseans to #votesafe in this critical election.

COVID-19 has transformed many aspects of our lives, including how we vote. In the coming election, our democratic values hang in the balance. The ballot box must be accessible to everyone. No one should have to choose between their health and their vote.

Throughout the country - particularly in communities of color - we’ve seen poll closures, shortages of poll workers, and voters waiting for hours to cast their ballots. Worse yet, we know the same communities that face these systemic barriers to the ballot box are also contracting COVID-19 – and suffering from it – at disproportionate rates. In short, historically disenfranchised Americans are experiencing both the worst of voter suppression and the worst of the pandemic.

Join us to make sure Tennesseans know their options about voting safely this November. We need volunteers to help us get the word out to voters. We need you to help us make phone calls or send text messages, share educational materials online, and talk to your friends and family about their plan to vote safely.
