Chefs Stand Up at The Standard
The Standard presents Chefs Stand Up, a dinner series supporting ACLU’s immigrants’ rights and other critical civil rights work.
Angela Dimayuga, Creative Director of Food & Culture at The Standard, has invited a wide array of award-winning, emerging and established guest chefs to create one-time-only dinners and artworks inspired by the immigrant communities that support the hospitality industry. A portion of proceeds from all nine dinners will go to the ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project, “dedicated to expanding and enforcing the civil liberties and civil rights of immigrants and to combating public and private discrimination against them.”
Chefs Stand Up will pop up across NY, LA, and Miami, each featuring our favorite socially conscious chefs including Kristen Kish, Naomi Pomeroy, Alex Raij, Nick Perkins, Devonn Francis, Gerardo Gonzalez, Anya Peters, Lee Desrosiers, and Alissa Wagner.
For almost 100 years, the ACLU has worked to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of the United States.
