Keep Wyoming's Roads Safe: Stop HB 116

Act Now

The roads are safer if everyone using them has passed a driver's test and is licensed. That’s why 19 other states and the District of Columbia have extended driving privileges to undocumented residents.

But House Bill 116 would prohibit undocumented immigrants from driving in Wyoming using those licenses issued in other states and penalize them with a citation for driving without a license.

This won't make Wyoming's roads any safer – but it will make the state more inhospitable to immigrants.

This bill is making its way through the legislative process, but there is still time to stop it. Tell lawmakers to oppose House Bill 116 to keep our roads safe and our state immigrant-friendly.

Invalidating out-of-state driver’s licenses for undocumented residents won’t make Wyoming’s roads any safer, but it will make our state more hostile to immigrants. That’s why I urge you to oppose House Bill 116.

The roads are safer if everyone using them has passed a driver’s test and is licensed. Please vote no on House Bill 116.
