There are just days left in this year’s state legislative session and, despite some progress on key legislation, lawmakers still haven’t passed a number of key protections for New Yorkers. Time is running out.

The NYCLU is still pushing bills to safeguard abortion, gender-affirming and prenatal care, students’ freedom to read, voting rights, fair parole, access to safe drinking water, and internet access – and we need your help.

Take Action:

Tell lawmakers they can’t leave Albany before passing these bills.

The Electronic Health Records Segmentation Act, the Maternal Health, Dignity, and Consent Act, Same-Day Voter Registration, Fair and Timely Parole and Elder Parole bills, and the Lead Pipe Replacement Act did not pass.
