Governor Baker just vetoed policy that would expand equitable access to abortion. We can't let the Governor get away with rejecting a health care equity bill in the eleventh hour, on a holiday. Let's be clear: this is an affront to communities of color systemically impacted by barriers to abortion care. Our abortion laws in Massachusetts are broken, and in vetoing this bill, the Governor is upholding a broken system.
UPDATE: The House just voted to override the veto. Please take a moment to make sure the Senate does the same.
