House Bill 251 is a bill sold as regulating police and private use of drones. However, it provides police with a blank check to surveil, with drones, any and all of our travels, activities, and destinations without a warrant.

HB 251 also impacts free speech rights by requiring written permission from anyone/everyone we might view through our own use of a drone. Plus, HB 251 explicitly makes all this government surveillance data public record, so your neighbors, ex-spouses, etc. can follow your travels and travel patterns.
