Stop House Bill 230, Legislation that Fuels the Failed War on Drugs

Take Action

House Bill 230 significantly raises felony drug trafficking penalties for cocaine, fentanyl and related compounds, heroin, and methamphetamine. Raising felony penalties will ultimately result in more people going to prison, and sentenced for more years, at tremendous additional cost to Ohio taxpayers. As decades of history have proven, serious drug problems in our state are not solved by bills like HB 230, which ineffectively target supply but do nothing to curb demand.

We must seek true solutions that center our communities and address the problems we all want solved.

TAKE ACTION: Contact the House Homeland Security Committee and tell them to vote NO on House Bill 230.
