Send A Message: Demand lawmakers vote NO on anti-immigrant bills

Join us in calling on all Alabama Legislators to vote NO on the following anti-immigrant bills:

  • HB7 – Expanding State and Local Immigration Enforcement
  • SB 53 – Anti-Harboring Law
  • SB 55 – Out of State Driver License Invalidation
  • SB 63– Immigrant Biometric Collection
  • SB 77– International Wire Transfer Fees

These bills unfairly target immigrant communities, increase the risk of racial profiling, are excessively punitive, and needlessly cruel.

Vote NO on anti-immigrant bills!

Please oppose HB7, SB53, SB55, SB63, and SB77. These anti-immigrant bills unfairly target immigrant communities, increase the risk of racial profiling, are excessively punitive, and needlessly cruel.

As neighbors, business owners, taxpayers, and workers, immigrants are an integral part of Alabama’s diverse and thriving communities and make extensive contributions that benefit all Alabamians. Instead of passing bills based on fear and racism, the state should focus on policies that promote economic equity, fairness, humanitarian aid, and equal treatment under the law.

I'm asking you to please vote NO on HB7, SB53, SB55, SB63, and SB77 and protect immigrant communities in Alabama. Alabama should not adopt policies that only encourage discrimination and fear within immigrant communities.

Sincerely,
