If passed, this bill would direct taxpayer dollars to private and religious schools that are allowed to refuse to enroll a child based on factors like disability, gender, religion, or academic aptitude. Funding private schools decreases transparency and accountability to taxpayers while also violating the separation of church and state guaranteed in the US Constitution.
