Protect Trans Youth, STOP HB 454

House Bill 454 would ban critical, gender-affirming healthcare for minors, while further stigmatizing the transgender and non-binary community and their needs. Important medical decisions should remain between youths, their families, and medical providers – not our politicians.

Legislators have no business banning evidence-based science, especially affirming, professionally endorsed services by pediatricians and other licensed providers. Trans youth belong, and discrimination has no place in our state.

This harmful legislation also negatively impacts physicians through threatening to remove the licenses of those who provide gender-affirming care and bringing forth civil lawsuits.

TAKE ACTION: Contact the House Families, Aging, and Human Services Committee and tell them to vote NO on HB 454.
