The message:

In the past few weeks, Oregonians have experienced multiple direct attacks from the Trump administration. In mid-September, the federal government sued Oregon to force our state to release private voter data. Then, in late September, President Trump announced via a social media post that he was ordering Defense Secretary Hegseth to send military troops to Portland, by federalizing Oregon National Guard members. In response to these unprecedented levels of federal government aggression, Oregon’s elected leaders have remained strong and steady in protecting Oregonians.

The recipients:

Attorney General Rayfield, Governor Kotek, Portland Mayor Wilson, and the Portland City Council

The impact:

Let’s make sure that our elected leaders know that Oregonians are with them and provide them with encouragement and our gratitude to continue protecting our state. Tell lawmakers: Stay strong for Oregon!

Together, we are showing the country and the world that Oregonians respond to threats and bullying behavior, even from a President, with firm determination, integrity, and community care. Thank you for working with us to defend and advance the Constitution and our democracy.
