Trans Athletes Belong in Oklahoma

Act Now

Transgender women are women. Period.

But the Oklahoma legislature is advancing SB 2, a bill targeting transgender youth participating in sports. This not about sports. It's about erasing and excluding transgender people from participation in all aspects of public life. It's about creating "solutions" to "problems" that don't exist and, in the process, harming some of the most vulnerable young people in Oklahoma.

This kind of discrimination needs to stop.

These proposed laws discriminate against transgender youth in ways that compromise their health, social and emotional development, and safety. And leading advocates for women's sports support the inclusion of women and girls who are transgender and warn that these efforts will ultimately harm all athletes in women's sports.

We need to send a message loud and clear to our lawmakers that it's time to stop attacking transgender youth and focus on meeting the needs of Oklahomans. Contact your Representative today and tell them to vote NO on Senate Bill 2.
