Tell Governor Lujan Grisham: Sign the NM Civil Rights Act

Act Now

In New Mexico, we are fortunate to have a state constitution that offers robust protections against government abuse that are even greater than those afforded in the U.S. Constitution. But those protections are meaningless if there is no legal remedy for seeking justice when our rights are violated, which is why we’re supporting the passage of the New Mexico Civil Rights Act this legislative session.

Currently, the New Mexico Civil Rights Act has passed both the House and the Senate and is now just one step away from becoming law.

Can you send the Governor a message telling her to sign the New Mexico Civil Rights Act into law?

Dear Governor Lujan Grisham:

We should be able to hold public officials responsible when they violate the rights of New Mexicans. That’s why I’m calling on you to sign HB4, the New Mexico Civil Rights Act.

I am urging you to seize this historic opportunity and sign HB 4. Together, we can ensure New Mexico is a place that does not tolerate abuse of power and that ensures each and every person has access to justice.

Sincerely,
