In New Mexico, we are fortunate to have a state constitution that offers robust protections against government abuse that are even greater than those afforded in the U.S. Constitution. But those protections are meaningless if there is no legal remedy for seeking justice when our rights are violated, which is why we’re supporting the passage of the New Mexico Civil Rights Act this legislative session.
Currently, the New Mexico Civil Rights Act has passed both the House and the Senate and is now just one step away from becoming law.
Can you send the Governor a message telling her to sign the New Mexico Civil Rights Act into law?
