Pass the Reproductive Freedom Act

TAKE ACTION NOW

ACLU-NJ

Every person should have the freedom to make decisions about their reproductive health care that's best for themselves and their families. But simply declaring rights is not enough. Numerous barriers, often rooted in systemic racism, continue to push access to reproductive health care, including abortion and contraception, out of reach which disproportionately impacts communities of color as well as low-income, immigrant, and LGBTQ+ communities.

Tell lawmakers: New Jersey must remove barriers that make accessing reproductive health care so difficult for too many.  I urge you to support the Reproductive Freedom Act (S3030/A4848) to expand and protect access to reproductive health care for all New Jerseyans, regardless of income level, immigration status, or gender identity.

Your Message

At a pivotal moment for our country, New Jersey has the opportunity to uphold the values of freedom, equity, and justice, and to act on urgent calls to confront systemic racism and inequities in health care access, by passing the Reproductive Freedom Act.

The Reproductive Freedom Act expands and protects access to reproductive health care, including abortion and contraception for all New Jerseyans regardless of income level, immigration status, or gender identity.

Until this bill passes, reproductive health care in New Jersey won't be guaranteed and accessible to ALL – no matter what happens at the federal level. It’s vital that this bill moves forward.

I urge you to support the Reproductive Freedom Act (S3030/A4848) in its entirety. New Jersey must prioritize equity and access, and guarantee reproductive freedom for all in New Jersey.

As a state, we must lead with compassion and put the health and well-being of all people first. We can do that by ensuring that all New Jerseyans have access to the health care they need, including reproductive health care, with dignity and respect.

Sincerely,
