Tell Your Legislators to Renew Medicaid Expansion!

Access to healthcare is a civil right. We must ensure that Montana’s most vulnerable have access to healthcare – take action now!

Montana’s Medicaid program ensures that more than 100,000 Montanans have access to healthcare, mental healthcare, or treatment for substance use disorders. While its primary objective is to provide healthcare for our most vulnerable, it also saves the state money, increases economic activity and jobs, and makes Montana a safer place to live.

Montana’s Medicaid program will end in June unless our legislators vote to renew it.

Act now! Tell your Legislators to support HB 425 without adding harmful proposals to take health coverage away from people who do not meet strict work and reporting requirements. Work quotas would take health coverage away from thousands of Montanans while creating tons of red tape and costing the state bundles of money. They simply won’t work for Montana.

I am writing to ask you to support the reauthorization of Montana’s Medicaid program without adding counterproductive drug testing or work requirements. Please support HB 425.

It’s a win-win: renewing Montana’s Medicaid expansion program will provide access to healthcare for our most vulnerable, save Montana money, and increase economic activity and jobs. It will also make Montana a safer place to live.

Medicaid Expansion enjoys bipartisan support. We must renew it as is.

Thank you for your time. I hope I can count on your vote.
