Tell Mississippi Legislators to Keep Abortion Safe and Legal

Act Now

As the U.S. Supreme Court prepares to hear arguments on Wednesday, December 1, on the 15-week abortion ban in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, the future of abortion access in Mississippi and across the country is uncertain. Because the State of Mississippi has asked the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade, these oral arguments will be the most important reproductive-related arguments heard before the court in decades.

Legal abortions are safe abortions. The growing possibility of abortion becoming more restrictive or outright illegal also increases the likelihood of unsafe abortions happening all across our country. The Supreme Court has failed to block a Texas law that bans abortions at 6 weeks, and more attacks could be on the horizon. It's more urgent than ever that we defend our right to reproductive freedom against these bans.

If the State of Mississippi is successful in its argument, states across the country could pass sweeping legislation to make this vital form of healthcare inaccessible and unsafe.

Send a message to Lieutenant Governor Delbert Hosemann and Speaker of the House Philip Gunn urging them to keep abortion safe and legal for all Mississippians.
