Tell your state lawmakers to keep Michigan's water on

Tell Michigan lawmakers water is a human right: Pass law to keep water on.

Tell your Michigan Senator and Representative to pass law to ensure people's water stays on to protect their health and stop COVID-19.

Governor Whitmer did the right thing by keeping people’s water on during this pandemic. But last week, the Supreme Court undid her executive order, leaving it up to the legislature to make sure people’s water is kept on. Without water, people cannot survive and we cannot stop the spread of COVID-19. Michigan lawmakers must act now to pass a permanent solution to keep Michigan residents' water on.

We must protect Michigan residents from having their water shut off. It is time for the Michigan legislature to ensure no one's water is shut off during a pandemic, or any other time of hardship for an individual or their family. People should not be punished for being poor, or being unable to pay their water bill.

Please help us send a message to state lawmakers: Water is a human right, regardless of your income.
