With extremism on the rise and personal data increasingly exploited to attack people online and in person, we need to safeguard these sensitive details from prying eyes. No person should be required to give up their most private information in exchange for carrying a cellphone.
To protect children, domestic abuse survivors, abortion patients and providers, trans people and their families, journalists, elected officials, immigrants, and everyone else, Massachusetts needs to pass the Location Shield Act.
