In the final hours of this legislative session, we're asking for your help on a few more bills that we consider must-pass legislation.

We need your urgent help to contact your state senators now and demand they pass these bills:

Public and District Library Freedom to Read Act (House Bills 6034 and 6035): Protects Michigan’s public libraries against censorship attempts.
Prevent Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation, better known as “SLAPP” (House Bill 5788): Deters SLAPPs, which attempt to intimidate individuals for exercising their First Amendment rights to speak out on issues that impact business and government actions.
Contraceptive Access Legislation (House Bills 5013, 5435, and 5436): Protects and expands patients’ access and affordability to contraceptives.
Legal Name Changes And Sex Designations On Certain Identification Documents (House Bills 5300-5303): Vital to affirming LGBTQ+ Michiganders’ gender identity.
