Breonna’s Law: Statewide Ban on No-Knock Warrants

No-knock warrants have been a staple of the failed war on drugs, turning communities of color into warzones. They allow police to enter homes without announcing themselves.

Too many innocent people like Breonna Taylor have needlessly lost their lives in these raids. Ask your state lawmakers to ban the use of no-knock warrants in Kentucky.

No more no-knocks in Kentucky

The tragic killing of Breonna Taylor in Louisville during a botched no-knock raid by Louisville Metro Police has turned an international spotlight on the commonwealth.

In the weeks following her death, the Louisville Metro Council unanimously passed a ban on no-knocks warrants. I hope you will support the effort to ban this dangerous policing practice statewide.

Please support House Bill 21 and Senate Bill 4 to ban deadly no-knock warrants, except in the most extreme circumstances. No Kentuckian should fear for their safety from the government inside their own home.
