Stop a Veto Override on HB 1041

Act Now

Banning transgender girls from participating in school sports is Indiana's latest attempt to prevent transgender people from living full and equal public lives. HB 1041 will single out trans girls for further exclusion by preventing them from participating in sports with their peers.

Governor Holcomb got it right when he vetoed HB 1041 and stated that there is "no evidence" of an existing problem regarding fairness in girls' sports.

But, regardless of the facts, some Indiana legislators continue to attack trans kids to gain political points.

Indiana legislators have promised to make HB 1041 law, overriding Governor Holcomb's veto. Transgender girls have the right to participate in sports consistent with who they are, just like anyone else. Denying this right is unconstitutional and blatant discrimination.

We must fight back. Contact your Indiana senator and representative to oppose a veto override.
