The message:

House Bill 1032 has passed out of the Indiana House and is now headed to the Senate. If it becomes law, it will redraw all nine congressional maps mid-decade, just ahead of the 2026 elections, while also making it harder for voters to challenge unfair districts in court.

The new map is a blatant power grab that was released less than 24 hours before the first committee hearing. The bill's author, Representative Ben Smaltz, even acknowledged that the map was "politically gerrymandered" and "purely for political performance."

This unprecedented move would weaken the voices of thousands of Hoosiers who have fought tirelessly for fair representation, carving up neighborhoods and manipulating lines to protect power in Washington.

Send a message to senators urging them to listen to the overwhelming opposition from their constituents: vote no on House Bill 1032, reject mid-decade redistricting, and protect our democracy and the institutions that govern it, not partisan interests.
