Protect Reproductive Rights in Indiana

Tell Legislative Leadership to Protect Our Reproductive Freedom

Following implementation of Texas' new cruel anti-abortion law, anti-abortion politicians in the Indiana state legislature have discussed implementing a similar law in our state.

Individuals – not politicians – should have the freedom to decide if and when to have children.

Since abortion became legal, politicians have consistently pushed abortion care out of reach for people of color, those struggling financially, young people, and LGBTQ+ people.

An individual's right to reproductive autonomy is central to the liberty and dignity of determining one's own life course.

Tell legislative leadership that Hoosiers want to keep our reproductive freedom.

I am writing today to urge you not to strip Hoosiers of their constitutionally protected reproductive rights.

Reproductive health care, including abortion, should be safe and available to those who need it, and not restricted by certain politicians who want to ban abortions.

Hoosiers agree that individuals should have the freedom to decide if and when to have children. And the majority of Hoosiers do not support abortion bans.

When people can make decisions that are best for themselves and their families, we give everyone the freedom to define their own path.

These consequential choices should be made by individuals and their medical providers, not politicians.
