Join the ACLU of Massachusetts
The ACLU is a force for freedom because of people like you. We exist – and succeed – because of the people in Massachusetts and across the country who care enough about our rights to make an investment in protecting them. We need your generous support because we don’t charge clients a dime for legal representation, and we don’t accept a penny of government funding, in order to ensure our absolute and unequivocal independence in our never-ending defense of liberty and justice for all people.
Our rights depend on our willingness to defend them, and the ACLU depends on your willingness to support our work. Thank you for joining or renewing your membership with as generous a gift as your resources allow!
Note: Contributions to the ACLU Foundation are tax deductible, but ACLU membership dues are not because they help fund our legislative advocacy work. (Learn more about the difference.) If you want to become a card-carrying member of the ACLU, you must pay membership dues. Basic membership dues are $20 or $5 for students and those with a limited income (use the "Other" option), but members can give at any level and we encourage you to generously support the critical work of the ACLU at the local, state and national level with your membership gift!
