Start an ACLU SoCal Chapter

Chapters are local volunteer-run groups that work closely with ACLU staff members to lobby civic leaders and legislators on important civil liberties and civil rights matters, put on informational forums, run phone banks and canvasses, and organize rallies.

Over time, chapters develop deep ties to other groups serving their communities and with the public officials elected to serve them. They mobilize for short-term influence, but they organize for long-term impact.

Interested in extending the ACLU's grassroots support in your community? Join an existing chapter in your region — or help start one by filling out the form below.
