Protect Life-Saving Healthcare for Trans People

Lawmakers across the country are launching sweeping attacks on transgender people, particularly youth, stripping away their rights and dignity.

After targeting bathrooms and sports, many states are now banning life-saving, gender-affirming healthcare, leaving trans people—both youth and adults—without access to the care they need to thrive. 

These bans block healthcare professionals from providing essential care, prevent referrals for treatment, and allow insurers to deny coverage. The impact is devastating, worsening the mental, emotional, and physical health of transgender people nationwide. 

Everyone deserves the freedom to make decisions about their own bodies. Gender-affirming care is safe, effective, and supported by medical experts. Politicians should not interfere in decisions that belong between patients and their doctors.
