Pledge to Fight with Us at the Statehouse

For over 60 years, the ACLU of Alabama has been showing up to defend equality, liberty, and justice for ALL Alabamians– and we know in times like these, how important it is to keep showing up. We are prepared for whatever the future holds, but we cannot do this vital work without you fighting alongside us.

As the home of the Civil Rights Movement, our history has shown us that change is always made from the ground up, in our own towns and cities, when we show up. Whether it’s defending attacks on LGBTQ+ rights, standing up for our immigrant neighbors, or rallying for reproductive freedom, the ACLU of Alabama will be there. We know what we are up against in the statehouse– and we are ready to take on the fight.

As we head into the 2026 Legislative Session, we need you with us now more than ever. Whether it’s in the courts, through community action, or continued lobbying, we won’t stop fighting until “we the people” means all of us. We hope you’re with us.
