Nevadans have made their voices heard loud and clear again and again: Cannabis is not a crime. It even says so in our state Constitution. Now it’s time Congress heard us too.
If passed, Assembly Joint Resolution 8 will urge Congress to remove marijuana from the federal list of Schedule 1 Controlled Substances. Nevada has always been a leader on cannabis policy, and this is a great opportunity to do it again.
