Arkansas politicians have put a constitutional amendment on the Arkansas ballot that will make it harder for eligible voters to vote.

By enshrining a harsh new photo ID requirement in our state Constitution, Issue 2 will do nothing to make our elections more free or fair.

Instead, it will disenfranchise thousands of eligible voters – especially low-income families, the elderly, minority voters and people with disabilities who are more likely to lack a government-issued photo ID.

Issue 2 is wrong for Arkansas and has no place in our state Constitution. Commit to protecting voting rights by voting “NO” on Issue 2.

Issue 2 will make it harder for eligible voters to vote, especially low-income families, the elderly, minority voters and people with disabilities. Voting is the cornerstone of democracy, but Issue 2 will put up new barriers around the ballot box and take our state backwards. I will be voting NO on Issue 2 on November 6.
