Protect Planned Parenthood

Three women on different backgrounds

Update (03/08/2017): Some members of Congress are trying to “defund” Planned Parenthood through the repeal of the Affordable Care Act. This bill specifically targets low-income patients by prohibiting them from accessing services like birth control, cancer screenings, and sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment at the Planned Parenthood health centers they trust.

We know what this is really about. Repealing the ACA would punish women, people with disabilities, communities of color, low-income individuals and families, and anyone seeking reproductive health care. And Congress wants to punish Planned Parenthood for providing safe, legal abortion services. Take action now – sign and share this petition so we can build our opposition force.

Extremists in Congress have been trying for years to block people from accessing care at Planned Parenthood – and we’ve beaten them back each and every time.

We can stop them because it’s obvious that these extremist legislators are motivated by politics – not by the interests of the people they claim to serve.

We must stop them because efforts to hurt Planned Parenthood hurt people who most need care – and we won’t stand for millions of people losing access to their trusted provider of cancer screenings, birth control, STD testing and treatment, and yes, abortion care services.

We will stop them because there are more of us than them. An overwhelming majority of Americans support Planned Parenthood and access to reproductive health care. We need to continue to stand together and #StandwithPP.

Tell Congress you won’t let them get away with attacking Planned Parenthood and our right to make decisions about our health care.

To Members of Congress:

Do not block patients from Planned Parenthood. Millions of people who rely on their health centers for urgent health care will suffer if you allow a politically-motivated attack to succeed.
