The message:

On the afternoon of Thursday, October 8, as families in the Marble Hill neighborhood were picking their children up from school, ICE officers stopped Oscar Belgal and fired multiple rounds into his car, hitting him in the neck. Belgal’s five-year-old witnessed everything from the back seat.

This horrific shooting is the inevitable consequence of the Trump regime’s unhinged and lawless campaign to terrorize, dehumanize, and deport our immigrant neighbors and rip apart our communities.

We need a Congress that will abolish ICE. Until then, New York officials must act – NOW – to bring justice for Oscar Belgal and to protect our communities.
