Every time you go online in New Mexico, companies are collecting information about your health, your movements, and your money, and nothing in state law stops them from selling it. That data can shape whether you get an apartment, a loan, a job, or the care you need. CHISPA is a bill written by New Mexicans, for New Mexicans, built on a simple idea: if a company wants to collect or sell your information, it should have to ask your permission first.

But a strong law starts with the people it protects. Join us for a community conversation about data privacy and the protections New Mexicans need. We'll share a short overview of the bill, and then we'll turn it over to you.

This will be a roundtable discussion, so come ready to talk, ask questions, and share your concerns. What you tell us will help shape CHISPA and the future of data privacy legislation in our state. You don't have to be a policy expert to join us, you just need to bring your perspective.

We hope you'll join us.
