Lancaster County Name Change Clinic Registration

The ACLU of Nebraska and OutNebraska are hosting a free Legal Name Change Clinic for LGBTQ+ Nebraskans, age 19 or older, who are residents of Lancaster County. The clinic is set for Wednesday, October 14, in downtown Lincoln.

Please fill out this form to register. Organizers will send a separate confirmation of your registration along with your appointment time and the event venue in the next few weeks.

Services provided through the clinic include meeting one-on-one with an attorney who will facilitate the name change process, draft necessary documents, and provide legal representation for notice of publication and name change hearing.

The clinic will be held in downtown Lincoln on Oct. 14, 2026, from 3 - 6 p.m. An exact location and appointment time will be sent after you register.
