Democracy On Tap is a family-friendly gathering designed to bring people together around the values of democracy, civic participation, and the protection of our constitutional rights.

As we approach the 2026 midterm elections, we'll engage in meaningful conversations about the issues shaping our communities, the importance of protecting the freedoms we all share, and how each of us can play a role in strengthening our democracy. Guests will enjoy great food, local craft and non-alcoholic beer, family-friendly activities, and opportunities to connect with others who are committed to building a more just Texas.

Democracy on Tap is also a community fundraising event supporting the ACLU of Texas' advocacy, education, and legal work across the state. Whether you're a longtime supporter or joining us for the first time, you'll have opportunities to learn more about our work, become a member, make a donation, and stay engaged beyond the event.
