From threatening station licenses to get Jimmy Kimmel taken off the air or to stop negative coverage over the war in Iran, the government is doing all it can to control the media and silence commentary it doesn't like.

This is blatantly unconstitutional. The government can't evade the First Amendment by coercing private parties into silence. The JAWBONE Act creates critical safeguards to protect our freedom of speech and freedom of the press. It would ban the government from bullying broadcasters or social media platforms into censorship, and let victims sue if the government tries to do it anyway.
