Yet some politicians would rather push gerrymandered maps and voter suppression bills to win rather than simply commit to fair elections. Hundreds of bills have been introduced in nearly every state aimed at restricting access to this fundamental right. The Trump administration has exacerbated these attacks, spreading misinformation about our election safety and using executive orders to restrict access to voter registration.
