The message:
Right now, state lawmakers are considering a bill that would direct landlords and local sheriffs to conduct harmful and cruel immigration enforcement against people who rent housing across New Hampshire.
This bill would not only fuel discrimination, but invite immigration policing into the homes of people living in the Granite State.
Landlords and local sheriffs should not be acting as ICE – especially during evictions.
Tell your legislator to oppose HB 1709 when they vote on Thursday, June 4.
