Resisting Fascism with Democratic Resilience: ACLU of Oregon 2025 Annual Meeting

When we are inundated by chaos and cruelty from the Trump administration, we can feel immobilized. But the best way to become unstuck and protect our democracy is to join with community members to learn and take concrete actions together.

Tune in virtually to the ACLU of Oregon’s Annual Meeting on Monday, December 1 and hear from ACLU of Oregon Executive Director Sandy Chung, and Hardy Merriman, an international expert on countering democratic backsliding. Merriman will speak to us about how we can build an effective pro-democracy movement to effectively resist, stop, and roll back growing authoritarianism in the United States, based on his extensive knowledge of research and data in this field.
