2024 Reproductive Freedom Project Benefit: Resistance and Resilience

The ACLU of Kentucky’s Reproductive Freedom Project (RFP) was launched in 1989 to defend and expand reproductive freedom in the commonwealth, fighting at the statehouse, in the courthouse, and in communities to improve outcomes for vulnerable Kentuckians, restore bodily autonomy, and build power.

Kentucky remains a forced pregnancy state. ACLU-KY's RFP is focused on harm reduction in an environment hostile to reproductive freedom. We also work with advocates, healthcare providers, and other reproductive organizations to broaden the coalition of Kentuckians engaged in this work.
